The Wandering Magus

My name is John Laws, and I am an Astrologicus Magus in the lineage of Christopher Warnock. As such, my primary practice is making astrological talismans in the tradition of Picatrix, Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, Marsilio Ficino, and the other great magi of the Renaissance. In addition to this, I am currently studying with Christopher Warnock to become a traditional Geomancer and traditional Horary astrologer.
I graduated Liberty University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in History. While being a practicing mage, I also have a dedication to historical integrity. I feel like my experience in both the arcane and the academy offer me and my readers unique insights into our illustrious tradition.
Finally, I am in the process of teaching myself Renaissance Latin. This is, in part, so I can publish thus far untranslated Latin material into English. As my skills in this area improve, I will update readers on translation projects that I am working on.
